how do you get a gummi piece for the ship ? Kingdom hearts?

i am still stuck in the first little ring of four worlds and i can't get out of it!!?! how do you get out of it ?? and how do you get a gummi piece that is suppose to get you out of this place ??? i need help!?!?!?
