I've been using it ever since it came out about 8 years ago or so. I took a couple of breaks from it to save money, but that was a big mistake. It's worth every penny. Just make sure you wear sunscreen with it or you'll have sun sensitivity. My daughter just turned ten and she's starting to get acne already, so I'm going to start her on it as well.

Pro-active is the only thing my dermatologist and I have found that did actually work on my face without the red peeling or flaking issues. Everyone is different, and will react differently, but i noticed a change in my skin after the first day of treatment, not so much as in the appearance, but in the texture, in about 1 week is when i started seeing the results. 2 years later i am still using it and i wont use anything else. Only now i no longer have to do the full routine of it. Now i can just use the daily renewal cleanser, and 3 times a week i use the repairing lotion.

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.
For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It's time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!

Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:

1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn’t use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured…if we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don’t want us to know.

There is a great website: http://cure-my-acne.info/3daycure/ that has all the details. I really suggest you check it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me.

Yes. I think it does seem to really work...
I have never had problem skin, but two of my close girlfriends have both had terrible skin all their lives. They are both in their 30's now, and still have bad skin, so I recommended Proactive after I saw it on the TV really late one night.
THEY BOTH ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.
I would say to give it a go, you didn't mention how old you are, or how bad your skin is, but I will tell you that both girls found after a period of time (about 2 weeks from memory), that their skin felt very tight and uncomfortable. Please persevere with it for at least the first month, and hopefully you'll see dramatic results as they did...
Good Luck!

Most people do start breaking out once they finally start using a good cleansing product, atleast for the first 2 weeks, you'll see more blemishes appear than disappear anyway. You are bringing all of the junk to the surface. Pro Active does work to control acne. But if you want to get rid of your acne, you need to realize that it is systemic and that it comes from within. So you need to be on pills aswell. My girl friends daughter, tried pro active and is now on this other program and likes it much better. Pro Active worked great for her, but this has cleared everything up, even her back. have your mom contact me: cinderelladreams4u@sbcglobal.net

While it took little less than two months for me to really see a difference, my acne, blackheads and whole lot of other skin problems I had such as eczema had completely cleared! It was totally amazing...

i know ppl that it has worked on,but it didnt work on me!
i would think it has a lot to do with ur skin type,
and make sure u use it regularly u should be able to tell in about 1 month maybe sooner if u dont see a difference its probably not for you.
tip: take a pic before and after otherwise u might not be able to tell because u see urself everday/if u know what i mean!

I bought it for my blackheads and it didn't seem to work really well. It did clear up pimples on my face, but those have never really been the problem, I mostly have this problem with the blackheads, so if you're looking for it to clear those, don't count on it. It did cause a lot of drying of my skin, but I just cut back on the "moisturizer" to once a day (overnight), and that seemed to help the dryness. Good luck!

NO it doesn't work... the best thing that cures pimples is TIME... u can't get rid of them in a short time... at 15 i had many pimples... now I'm 17 and my skin is as beautiful as the VIPs wearing makeup... i tried about 7 or 8 solutions from different manufacturers like Avon, oriflame, loreal, and medicinal products... time worked for me... don't know for u though...
