Depends on where you live. Some states have laws that greatly favor creditors, while others like Texas, there is almost nothing you can do about persons who don't pay you. Basically though in any state you can take them to court and get a judgement against them.

keep reminding them they owe you money, or you can go to the court registry & file a small claims court action agaist them, depending how much it is they owe you.
