I have loved James Bond for 30 years now, have all the Fleming books, as well as all the John Gardner and John Benson Bond followups.

I'm definitely going to see it on the big screen armed with my Diet Pepsi and pack of Goobers (my own license to kill-via my health! lol).

I'll go in with an open mind, but what about you?

Nobody is Bond but Connery.

Yep - I'll go with an open mind. Nothing to it - just take it as a great film & a good actor!! Yeah, I know its BOND & a guy thang, but to be honest with ya, I loved Timothy Dalton as Bond & couldn't stand Remington Bosnan or Pierce Steele, whatever the heck his name was. I didn't even like Roger Moore - he was slick & smarmy as Bond. For me, Connery was Bond. I'd rather see Dalton take it than the other two. I'm looking forward to seeing how Craig handles it, that's fer sher.
I get pepsi (not diet) & Skittles, so I'll join ya for the big show . . .
get our very own view to the kill, so to speak . . .

I went to see Omen 2006 (having seen Omen 1976 in theaters when it premiered. Yikes.) & kept an open mind - was very nicely surprised to find it was not only well done, but an excellent film all the way around. So perhaps we'll get lucky with the new Bond as well!!

Have fun!!

I love the Bond series and understand that change is inevitable.

Although I wish Pierce was doing more films - I am really willing to give D.Craig a chance.

I remember not liking Pierce at first - then I saw the movie and LOVED him.

I have also heard that Craig has been signed to another film so apparently the execs think he did a great job...

007...Give the guy a chance...Everyone need an opportunity to prove oneself in a new job. So...give em a chance, plus the modern day moviegoers 20 and 30 somethings deserve their time time with the bond spins...like the baby boomers had their time. Be open minded and celebrate the movie going experiences!!!!! But get your feet off of the seats.

I'll probably go see it... in the new Sept. Esquire, there's a very good article about Daniel Craig & the mystique of Bond. Craig was named Best Dressed Man of the Year, in my opinion it should have went to Terrence Howard. =)

I'm going into it opened minded and trying not to read up on it too much. I'll admit that I have developed a soft spot for Brosnan. Change is just different, it doesn't have to be bad.

particular, i could say... he had one in each and every of those super physique. yet this new bond image performed via craig is easily diverse from the old james bond. he has so plenty greater emotion happening and there is far greater action performed via craig than brosnan. terrific bond action picture yet.
