It's possible to "set" the pencil color by going over it with an application of Powder.
Try lining your eye with the pencil (black) then smudge a bit of eyeshadow over the line. This should last all day.
For fun try experiment with different shawdow colors. l.

Never buy cheap stuff...it runs and doesnt look great. I would suggest buying a pencil by revlon or max factor and if you can find one that has an eraser on it so you can smudge it some...you dont want it to look like a perfect pencil line........that looks ghetto.

Try Almay 18 hour eye pencil, I have been using this for over five years, this stuff never wears off unless you take it off. Cost about $6.00 or 7.00 dollars.

I use N.Y.C It's reasonably priced and works really well!
**in case you didn't know already**
If you ever get a liner that doesn't apply easily, just heat the tip with a lighter, wait a few so you don't burn yourself then apply.

cover girls makes a pencil liner that lasts all day (i think it's called "outlast").
it smears a little, but not nearly as much as some others.

I like either Rimmel, N.Y.C., or Prestige. The price is right and they all do the same thing.
