I going back after a three year break, just wondering how many others like me are out there. Also, are you happy with your decision? I'm supposed to start classes tomorrow but I'm still wrestling with going back. I'm already making as much as I would with a degree so I'm still pondering the point. What influenced you to return to school? Any advice for someone who still feels lost?

Smart move. I am 21, and going back to school. 2 kids slowed me down for a bit but my youngest is now 1 year old, and I'm ready to move from the "Good Job" status to "Great Career." Don't fight with yourself on this. You've already answered you own question. Go back to school, and enjoy it; then reap the benefits. I want to return to school for my kids, so I can have a sizeable retirement and they won't have to be burdened by me; also to have the ability to leave them and future grandkids a little something when I'm gone.

I graduated from high school 4 yrs ago. I decide to start working then go to college. I'm also starting college part time this week. I still don't know if i made the right decision either. i have a great job with benefits. I just hope when i get a degree that i can make more money in the field i currently work in. And plan on majoring in. But congratulations on making the decision to go back to college. I think we'll both do great. And don't second guess yourself. If that's what u really want to do then do it because u want to do it. I woke up a few times and just had the urge to go to college. And that's what I'm doing now. So good luck and u'll do fine.

I'm 29 and quit high school in gr.9. I have 4 kids and the youngest is going to start school. I don't have a clue quite what my course of action will be for sure. I can either take high school courses, college courses or university. The university ones are too long and the high school wont get me anywhere. I knwo it's a rough choice, I'm battling with it myself. My advice to you, and I think I'm going to take it as well, is go for it. You can never be too educated and when it's over you'll be so glad you did. Good luck and God Bless!
