it is my theory that all stupid people that are having kids at 16 and the intelligent people are waiting till mid 20's+ to have them. The problem being that if the stupid people's kids are having kids at 16 too at like twice the rate of intelligent people does that mean that sooner or later intelligent people will be outnumbered and eventually die out? and if so how can we stop this mindless mindlessness?

This is a top question and good point!

A large Chav cull should help sort this! I am almost 30 and sick and tired of paying for 14 year old girls getting pregnant (not by me I should add at this point) and living off our taxes and getting every thing in life given to them for free!

If a cull is a bit extreme please send them to the Antarctic or some desert and leave them to fend for there own stupid self's.

On the up side if they keep breading like they are we must be among the smartest people in the world! (now I feel a lot better about that.)

Take out the people that you think are not as intelligent as you and where will you be. Who provides the services you use every day. Who serves you in the shops or the burger bars. Who works (diligently) in the factories. the mines, the ports to allow you to lead the lifestyle you lead (I'm assuming you've got one). Not everyone can have a degree, most don't get that opportunity, but to discount people simply because they were the product of an immature relationship is wrong. Many will grow up to support you in your old age through their taxes. Will you refuse to accept help because of when they were conceived. By the way you seem to be implying that your one of the intelligent ones. I don't think so.

A person's age does not determine the level of intelligence, nor is it a measure of how intelligent their offspring will be. People make mistakes and some choose not to have an abortion. In the early history of the world throughout the 19th and early 20th century, people gave birth at a very early age, it was a form of survival, by ensuring they had plenty of hands to work and provide for an extended family. Also, the expected median age at death was in their early 20's. In some countries this still holds true.
As for the answer to life and the unverse, I can't say I know it, but finding balance in your life, doing things in moderation, and being tolerant and accepting of others rates pretty high in my radar.

Mother at 16 here who had a 4.0 all the way through H.S. Watch what ya say! And just so you know, your intellegence is way off. Age 16 to mid 20's is not twice the rate. Twice the rate of 16 would be the age 32. Women's bodies were made to have children at ages younger than 16, society has just made it seem wrong. At least we HAVE children at 16. Many people just abort the pregnancy, therefore, we are stronger than you will ever be.

no child is born stupid, even when the parents might be mentally retarded. being born of parents who were stupid enogh to have had kids at 16 and below, does not neccesarily mean the kids will go into the same routine.

so, statistically, your inference and conclusions will not be possible. the fact hat a person also had a child early in life does not neccesarily potray stupidity. some cultures encourage early marriage and some people become physically, mentally and spiritually mature to handle such things even if they are not yet mature age wise.

so you see, even if the rate at which young and underaged pregnancy increases, it does not mean that we will have more stupid and less intelligent people.

I think your mindless writing something like that, just so you know i am not a teenage mum but i feel comments like that are completly ridiculous.

Ok so some people make mistakes but not all of them are thick, i know people that are better parents than their twenty something counter parts, and those children are going be intelligent.

You can not write off some ones intelligence based on mindless observations. My partner's mum was a teenage mum, he has qualified with first class honours and has got a decent job, surely he should not be intelligent based on your theory. I am product of a twenty something "intelligent couple" i have qualified with a 2:1, i have a decent job too but my partner based on intelligence is far more intelligent than me. so your theory i believe is wrong.

not all people who have kids at 16 are stupid--it's the ones who have four.. five.. six.. and so on with abandon that are stupid.

stupid people shouldn't breed, but they're the only ones doing it.

there's a difference between "have a couple of kids when you're ready for them" and being senseless with birth control and sex.

but to answer your question, yes, intelligent people are dying out. "survival of the fittest" means being able to spread your seed (pass on your genes, namely) and propagate the species, and intelligent people aren't nearly as interested in running around and getting laid as not-so-intelligent members of our species.

we can only be responsible for our own actions..Understand your point, but we cant judge every one the same, some 16 yr old can be married and together for years. You sound very angry? All we can do is make sure we do the best we can for our selves and future.
For me I was 23 with my first.. But that marriage did not last, but I have always worked.. no DSS no maintenance, No council house, perhaps I was lucky?
I have a 19 yr old daughter, almost all her school friends have had babies, she is not interested, not academic, but not wanting to join baby boom either.
and ermm if 16 yr old young women are having babies, why aren't their young men wearing condoms?

your right maybe all the intellegent people will be gone in a couple of years but if the sensible grown ups teach there kids the right way then perhaps 16 year olds wouldn't be going out and getting pregnant.it is so stupid cause they have only a couple of years to be kids and there wasting it.
