I don't. I always check caller ID first. If I want to talk to you then I'll pick up. If not...to the answering machine with you.

Are you one of those people who sits by the phone, but won't answer it until it rings a certain number if times? I don't get it....
I let the phone ring until I can pick it up. If I'm next to the phone, it only rings once. If I'm across the room, it'll ring two or three times. If I'm in the little boys room, I just let it go to the answering machine.

However long it takes for me to run to it, read the caller ID, and decide if it's for me (it never EVER is), and then to decide if I should answer it, hand it off to someone else, or let the machine get it. I'm not sure how many rings that is. It's usually between 2 and 5.

3. contemporary telephones ring earlier the relationship is surely made. a good number of situations while a man or woman dials a incorrect variety, by the time he realizes it, the telephone on the different end is ringing. by waiting for 3 rings you may stay away from answering multiple incorrect numbers. the guy will comprehend they dialed a incorrect variety and hold close up and you will stay seated on your chair.
