The reason most people think that the majority of land is in the Norththern Hemisphere is due to the simple geographical fact that it is! Asia alone is bigger than South America, Australia and Antarctica combined. And note that a good proportion of South America, and well over half of Africa are in the Northern Hemisphere.
Playing around with Google Earth, I get about 9,500 miles of land at 50N lattitude. I then tried 30N,because although Asia doesn't reach as far east there, you are almost uninterrupted from the Atlantic coast of Africa to China. However...North America is much narrower at that latitude so I only got around 7,000 miles.
Further north, although N. America gets even wider and Asia extends even further east, latitude lines get smaller. It looks like somewhere around 50N is the winner!
Of course, if you want the latitude with the biggest percentage of land, you go to Antarctica; south of around 65S parallels are entirely on land.

I confirm. Douglas Z is right. It's the Arctic Circle, or, better yet, just a tad south or there. Right where Siberia and Alaska touch noses. The only significant stretches of water are the Bering Strait and the White Sea (both tiny), the Norwegian Sea (part of the North Atlantic), the Denmark Strait, and Davis Strait. Portions of Greenland and Iceland are both on this latitude.

A very interesting question. It would certainly be in the Northern hemisphere. Just guesstimating from a map, I would say 45 deg N or 65 deg N, but I don't know for sure.
Edit:
Actually, 89 deg S is 100% land. But I assume you weren't interested in Antarctica.

Excellent question for a change. By looking at my globe, and you must use a globe, not a map, the answer appears to be 66 degrees North latitude, roughly equivalent to the Arctic Circle.

I reckon its probably the area between 30 and 45 degrees south. Most people think that most land is in the northern hemisphere but actually most land mass is in the Southern hemisphere. This is evident when you consider the sheer size of Africa and South America compared to Europe.

It'll definitely be the band that contains Russia and Canada...Alaska... whatever it is...it's in the northern hemisphere that's for sure!
