lebanese hizbullah asked Iran for help, and fought israeli troups in lebanese ground for 18 ,and in 2000 israeli's couldnt take the resistance.
israeli forces evacuated lebanon because of Hizbullah, and took lebanese prisoners to israel.
for 6 years the lebanese goverment and hizbullah tried to negotiate for the prisoners, but israel refused to give them anything.
it was illegal for israel to hold these prisoners, Hizbullah had it, and the prisoned soldiers to negotiate.
Hizbullah NEVER commited any terrorist attack against civillians
Israel lunched a total war.
israel lost the war,and lost a few civilians -in the war- ,hizbullah won.
israel killed 1300 civillians in cities, and 64 hizbullah fighters in the battlefield.
Hizbullah killed 117soldiers,40 civillians

Ok well I agree. We are in America. We don't know what it is really like for the people in the middle east. We are only told what they want us to believe. I am just so confused as to whom I would support in all of this. I think I will just have to let this one play out and hope for the best. I think that most americans forget how this country was founded. We fled to America to get away from horrible rulers. We started our own country because it was so bad! What if it is like that in Israel and Lebanon? We don't know. I don't think that we should be judging either side of this situation. It is not our battle anyway. We couldn't do much for the people over there anyway. Look at what we let our government get away with in America. Why would the government listen to the people about countries that are on the other side of the world??

Ok, lets see. Putting history in the past, lets look at current events shall we? Then we'll see who Hezbollah is today.
(Preceding event 1) Israel has Hezbollah prisoners and holds the Sheeba Farms.
Ok so Hezbollah takes it upon itself to ignore diplomacy (because they aren't a recognized state), and free the prisoners themselves. Thus pulling Lebanon into a war in which there is massive destruction and loss of life. The war was a bad decision by Israel. The strike a horrible decision by Hezbollah.
Hmmm.....Hezbollah doesn't seem justified in pulling its country into war with only a backing of 40% of the population of a democracy. Did you ignore this?
During the war, Israel has to blow up civilian areas where Hezbollah fights. Well, thats war.
During the war, Hezbollah attacks settlements with no military value. Hmmmm....seems pretty shady, but hey they don't really have chance, so that makes it OK to use these tactics right?
Lets just hope that Lebanon and Israel will come to the table and do what is right. And Hezbollah butts out...
Do you think that Israel had the right to the prisoners, considering the massive missle buildup in southern Lebanon? I don't know, but they certainly have a valid arguement don't they?

Hezbollah is a terrorist group. You said it yourself.
As to the rest of your facts, those that aren't subject to rational debate are generally either inaccurate or blatantly wrong.
I don't care what else Hezbollah has done. Firing thousands of rockets at Israeli civilians and bombing Israeli cities, where there is no military presence, is a purely terrorist action.
Kidnapping soldiers is a terrorist action. And whether that claim can also be made against Israel or not is irrelevant. Hezbollah has still done it, and is still also a terrorist organization, regardless of who else might be.
But Israel has not done anything more than the USA has also done. So, if the term terrorist applies to Israel, it applies equally to the USA for the exact same actions.
