Ideally I want Andre Agassi or Andy Roddick to win but odds are on Roger Federer. For the women's side since, sadly Kim Clijsters is out with injury, its a more wide open field;I think its a toss up between Justine Henin-Hardene or Maria Sharapova; or even Martina Hingis could take a shot to it.

The men's champion will likely be Federer. The only other people I can see winning are Nadal, Blake, and Roddick(if Federer loses early and Roddick plays flawless.) For the women, it's hard to say. Mauresmo and Henin are in my opinion the favorites but I wouldn't count out Sharapova or the Williams sisters if they try their best.

Nadal is most likely to triumph Federer in the Open, but I am praying Roddick tops Blake for the final. 2 americans for America's Open. For the women... I have to go with any Russian :-P I like Kutzenova for the title.

Men's: Roger Federer.
It really depends on the draw to see how everyone else will do:
Other potential Finalists:
Nadal and Bagdahtis (based on their 06 performances in Grand Slams),
SF: Murray, Gasquet, Roddick, Ferrero (great summer)
QF: Ljubicic, Blake (good hardcourt record earlier in 06)
...and Gonzo will also get far
