First off, don't give up. I really, really, really, wish you the very best.

Here's an oddity.

I use to hate the piano.

Why?

Because it was too beautifully seductive in it's tonality and sustain. Specially after really developing what amounts to a passion for Baroque music ( only when well played ).

Worse yet, I heard a composition by Mozart played on his own Piano Forte. It was really in tune with what I call Devastatingly Beautiful. Given all the adaptations of the pieces I liked, subsequently, all written for harpsichord, it really soured me.

Like painting a moustache on a Van Dyck portrait. Then ... I heard Vladimir Horowitz.

Wooooooooowwwwwwwww!!!

Not everything he played was so sublime, but I have to admit, I really liked what I'd heard. This doesn't mean my tastes changed. It only means to keep a discerning ear out.

Again. I really hope you take this far.

No, not yet, but I will very soon. I think its a beautiful instrument to play and it sounds so cool, ever since I was little, I wanted to play the piano. I'm also 14.

I'm not under 20, but I started playing when I was about 13 and I LOVED it!

I love the piano. I started playing when I was 7 but didn't get as far in my lessons as I'd hoped to. I love the melodies that you can play and the soothing sounds that it gives.

The piano is the king of instruments. The only bad thing about it is that it is not as portable as, say, a guitar.

Don't play, but I love it. If I could play, I'd want to learn as many genre's as possible. Classical, blues, and especially jazz.

Piano is WONDERFUL. It seems that almost everybody either plays, or wishes they did.
