is it possible to have my email alert me when someone reads an email that i have sent them ????

Yes and no.
You can switch on an auto-reply thing that some email clients will respect, but the recipient can disable it.
IN web mail you are pretty much out of luck.

Some email programs, such as Outlook, will let you do that. You can tag an alert onto your email so that when they open it, it emails you letting you know that they have opened it. I'm not sure if you can do this in yahoo or not; I'm thinking no. It is simple to attach your yahoo email to outlook if you don't already do that. I'm sure there may be another program out there, I just don't know what it would be. Outlook is the only one I know of. Hope this helps!

yes u can get it. After u send a mail u check the "send email alert" .

Stating the email program that you are using would help others answer your question - it's possible in certain applications by enabling what's called a "read receipt".

Try searching for read receipt in your help file.

u can have the reverse
i.e u can send automated mails to others stating that u have received their mails
the converse may not be possible
