I am crazy over the version of "Pretty Polly" by Ralph Stanley and Patty Lovelace.

I also like "Will There be Any Stars in My Crown" by the Cox Family.

A great album is "Flatt and Scruggs: Songs of the Famous Carter Family". It is full of favorites.

"Earl's Breakdown" is an instrumental that I also enjoy.

Oof. This is NOT my favorite band and it isn't even a blue grass band, but the Dixie Chick do this bluegrass tune called White Trash Wedding that I absoultely love. It's on their Home album.

I'm not sexist but i can't stand the mens' voices in blues grass(like Dr.Ralph Standley)i'm not the biggest fan of bluegrass
but Wildwood flower and keep on the sunny side

I don't know that I really have a favorite song, but I like anything by Bill Monroe or Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver.
