What do you mean..."was"? lol
I'm a grown woman and I still have moments of extreme stupidity or indecision or awkwardness!

4th Grade through age 48, soon to be 49. No matter how old you are - you still have awkward moments. No matter how "important" you are - you still have them. I've come to believe it's just a part of life - certainly a larger part of some people's personalities than other's. I've been a "big shot," and can remember MANY awkward moments.
I just hid in High School - I spent my life, outside classes, either in the Library or the pool.
It's amazing I actually emerged from either - I have to thank my "kick in the ***" (not literally) father for that. I refused to disappoint him - and boy, was he happy when my name started appearing in the paper on a regular basis - for GOOD things.
It was worth every moment of awkwardness, and I still remained his "little girl," despite my public successes. When it came right down to it - I'm the one he called when he needed help - because he knew I would come and I was the one he wanted there.
