Sawyer Brown competed and won in the group category,then went on to have a super career in country music. The last few years,though,their focus has been in gospel music,but they're still doing great!

Tell that to Drew Carey and Leeann Rimes, both Star Search winners. There have been several models and comedians, I cant think of that won on that show.

Um, there are several people who have been on Star Search (not sure if they WON) that are pretty famous. Scott Grimes, Leann Rhimes, Sawyer Brown, and I think Rosie O'Donnell was on it too!!!
