i will need a 2 or 3 bdr 2 bath w/d hookups and a small yard. Hopefully 500.00to 600.00 a month. I am moving down in november and am in need of a place .

Do you have a preference to a certain area of Pensacola? Would you consider a suburb or neighboring town? What do you need to be close to?

Try contacting a local real estate agent. They will know everything there is to know about affordable, safe options. A really good website to browse local real estate/real estate agents is: http://www.realestateforsaleinflorida.net
It's really easy to navigate and is full of info about realtors with links to their personal websites. Most of their websites will have all the available homes/rentals in the area along with community info, so you can do some research before you contact anyone. Hopefully that works for you. Good luck!

Good luck on your move -- I would try craigslist for Pensacola or even better apartments.com they have a lot of houses listed for rent despite their name you can find them on the link below. Another place to try is the local paper online classifieds - I added that link too :

I would try www.hud.gov. If you're a low-income single mother, you should be able to qualify for Section 8 apartments. This website have them listed.
If you don't qualify, try www.realtor.com. They have an entire Rental section.
