yeup, but if you want to listen to over 2000000 songs but not be able to own them, just go to www.rhapsody.com and that is free and legal. you just have to download the rhapsody player

well it depends if you are downloading some garage bands music that they are posting to get exposed? then no. If you are downloading anything under the copyright protection of the MPAA and RIAA then yes and you can go to jail and pay hefty fines.


I suggest getting some friends and borrowing their cd's. Less chance for getting your front door kicked in.

ye as long as you dont share files. the way you set that up is in by clicking shared files and configuring it. Go to sharing and uncheck the box that has shared files.

also if you are really worried about it move all the files you have downloaded a windows media player or real player or something like that.
