It is a feature of all females of the mammalian group, differing in frequency, duration and the age of onset and termination. In humans, it begins at around 13 years of age (menarche) and ends at around 45 years of age, when it is termed menopause. The cycle is of a 28 to 30 days and the flow is usually for 4 days. During pregnancy the menstrual cycle stops and continues that way during lactation phase also, when the mother is still breast feeding her child (the nature’s assurance for the continued well being of the new born).
You have certain medical problems related to menstrual cycle- menorrhagia, dysmenorrhea, epimenorrhea, polymenorrhea, amenorrhea, etc.

usually a menstral cycle is 21 days with no period and 7 with period. I'm not real sure what you want to know about your menstral cycle.
