What was the original use of the abbrv. BRB, and what it meant orignally.

Ding ding ding. The last person, while probably cheating, got it right. It was Bathroom Break (BRB). Before "text messaging" and "Instant messengers" and the "internet" There was MS Dos. The only way to keep in touch over the computer was that. In Ms Dos you cannot type very long sentences so, they used lingo. Bathroom Break was one of them, hence, BRB. Someone misinterpreted is and said it's Be Right Back. There's a history lesson, kids.
