Do any of you make your own accessories? can you share the steps to your creations?

I sometimes use wire to wrap around beads and make a necklace. Use a medium wire and pliers so you don't poke yourself. for places where you really need to push wire against the bead (I usually range in size but larger is easier) use a thimble to push against it.
Another thing I like to do is get really bright and interesting silk scarves from yard sales. After you wash them you can cut them into a four inch wide strip and sew the sides together so the are two inches wide. By two metal rings (can easily be found in the craft section at Walmart) and secure them to one end. Wal-lah, a homemade belt certain to spruce up any outfit.
I knew a girl who used to wear "macaroni art" all through high school. She spray painted it, usually gold, black, or silver, and strung various types of macaroni on ribbon. Sounds strange at first but she actually managed to look very polished and gorgeous.

You can typically get patterns and designs for assessories through beedwork books, most of which are available either at Borders or Barnes and Noble. If you don't have the time to make them, I'd consider going to Target to pick up something. They have VERY stylish pieces that are reasonably priced, betwen $6 and $13. If you don't live near one, you can shop with them online at www.target.com.

What do you mean? Clothing or Hardware. Men's or Woman's apparel or pet's clothes?
Well I do Renaissance and traditional Italian clothing from the 1500-late 1800's... so yes I guess I do.

I mostly make my accessories from broken accessories that I already have. like I made a pair of earring out of a broken bracelet and I've made a chocker from a broken necklace.

I make some of my own jewelry. Most of what I make is just a random idea or inspiration using any of the techniques you can find in any book on beadwork.
