That is because the general population only thinks of gay people in a sexual manner. As soon as the focus changes within the society, this type of presentation will change as well.

I'd like to give the example of Ellen DeGeneres. She came out with her show, Ellen, and the writers thought it would be hilarious to play on her sexuality. Ellen, after a bit, no longer wanted her show to go this way and wanted it more of a comedy about 'other things.' So, it's more the writers and producers than the actual individual much of the time.

I can say the same thing about straight presenters...what is the problem...innuendo is the funniest type of humor. What is your problem?

Because the jew tube only shows those that fit the stereotypes. You know the screaming queen sort that should be rounded up and gassed like the good old days.

This is not true for every gay TV presenter.
However, from what I have seen certainly a lot of them do, and in my opinion it's because I think being openly gay is a huge thing for these people. I mean, you don't have to "come out" that you're straight, do ya?
So, their sexuality is a huge part of their personality.
BTW - I'm straight, and I hate queers. I'm not homophobic, because that would infer that I have a fear of them; I'm just really intolerant.

Counterintuitively, Ellen Degeneres is pretty much the cleanest, most family-friendly comedian that there is.

you are referring to TV presenters that use their sexuality to get ahead in TV. There are many more that you don't know are gay so don't tar them all with the same brush
