If you are using QuickBooks, Quicken or Peachtree as a accounting program they have that service for a good monthly rates. Otherwise check yellow pages and you will find plenty of them... Innovative Merchant Solutions is the company we are using and is very good . (1-818-936-7897).

No, it's a waste of time. If you want to accept credit cards, try using PayPal or Wells Fargo.

I work with a company called Prairie Processing and we supplie complete payment solutions.
PayPal Charges upwards from 3% on small bussiness
All the banks that I deal with charge far less than that.
More often then not we use authorize.net one of the most highly used e-com companys

I agree with others who said this. Paypal is the easiest - use it only when you need it and not have to pay monthly fees. Once established, check into credit card merchants starting with your local bank.
