Richard Madley drives me mad, who else feels the same?

Question

I am currently watching Richard and Judy and Richard is gradually winding me up, he constantly belittles Judy, interupts her when she is speaking, asks the guests questions and then answers for them, and thinks he is so funny! Is it just me or does other people feel the same? (Don't say stop watching, because i like the topics and guests)

Oh thank god! I thought i was the only one. Cant stand the man. He seems to think he knows everything about everything, He cant interview anybody to save himself. I cant remember the name of the guest a while ago, but they actually asked him if he had done any research on the topic they were talking about coz he didnt have a clue. I dont see what the big deal about him is . Too big headed for my liking. He should have stopped doing interviews after the O J Simpson interview. They definately gave that scoop to the wrong couple. Thankyou, now i feel a lot better and to answer your question he drives me MAD

Yeah he has been doing it for years, ever since This Morning. In reality he is a geek and was once voted as the worst presenter on TV. I used to find it funny and annoying at the same time that he would be stuffing his face when the chefs had cooked something up on This Morning (around 10.30am) while Judy was seriously asking them about the recipe and stuff - so unprofessional!

Judy often puts him back in his place and if she don't do it on air I bet she does indoors!

I agree with everything you have said about that awful man. I don't know how Judy puts up with him. My mum can't stand him either and will not watch the show because of him. Judy on the other hand is lovely. By the way I find his hair really distracting don't you think it looks strange?

Yes. But, that's why they get so many viewers. I have watched the gruesome twosome since 1989 when This Morning started. He is abrupt and patronising, but that';s his charm! Judy is a shite interviewer though always going er .. er erm.. and fiddling with her crucifix. Philip and Fern are a better duo as duos go, but you'll miss the Madeley when they're off air for 3 months after this week.I like Alistair McGowan's impressions of him, they're spot on!
Oh and don't forget that he won the most embarrasing tv moment doing his Ali G impression (which was hilarious)

I find him really annoying. I've noticed the way he goes on with Judy, he's very patronising with her and talks to her like she's his mother or a demented old woman. He's very much up his own backside and doesn't seem to really look at things from any other than his own point of view.

Isn't that man the most annoying pretentious, patronising little twerp to ever appear on TV, he is sarcastic, down right rude and so far up his own backside he could clean his teeth from both ends, one of these days Judy is going to tell him to just shut up.

I have to agree with you. He drives me crazy too. He acts like a big know it all and I hate the way he leers at the women models when they do a fashion topic.
