I need to write a poem on "What man has done to nature" .

Once upon a time,
In a far off land
Lived a mighty presence
Who was known as Man.

He captured the birds
And charmed the bees,
Filled in the lakes
And cut down the trees.

Until one day, in his artificial home,
He noticed the silence
He was all alone.

Not a creature, nor flower, nor insect around.
The faint whir of machines was the only sound.
He cried out to the heavens with fury and rage
But no one will hear him in that day and age.

Listen to the breeze
The sound of the ocean
And the buzzing of the bees......
