And why?

Will Rogers
He was born rich, got thrown out of several high-dollar schools, and ran away to join the wild west show. He rode horses, and twirled a rope, and told corney jokes and wore rumpled suits. Will managed to marry his sweetheart, raise normal kids, and become a movie star, mayor, writer, radio personality, newspaper man, air traveler, and a multi-millionaire BECAUSE of who he was, not in spite of.
The only part I would change is, I would not get on a home-made airplane with a notorious drunk to fly to Alaska--at night.
Then he would have lived a while longer. The WHOLE WORLD mourned when he crashed (Auguest 15, 1935.)
I try to emulate him in that I try to be myself. I joke a lot, and write, and try to find the humor and/or kind way in everything I do. I try to live as if my life, words, influence mattered.

Or is it who you most emulate?

That would be Moses.

I talk to God a lot, but nothing ever quite works out.

I'm into law, yet believe it's open to interpretation, I mean it's not like it's written into stone or something....

I've also gotten lost in the desert, and refused to stop and ask directions.

My brothers have described my visits as reoccurring plagues.

I could have been part of the ruling group, but decided to lead a lot of people astray instead.

I like wearing beards and sandals (on occasion.)

NOW- as for who I'd want to emulate...

Albert Einstein.

Brilliant, but no one really understood him. Good with the ladies, but looked like a Grey Carrot Top after he stuck, his hand in an electrical socket.

A full professor without graduating with an advanced degree. (Look it up most of his were Honorary.)

So basically he lived his own life and made great quotes. ("Understanding the Universe is easy- understanding the tax code is hard.")

...with tongue firmly planted in cheek.

Golda Mier reason she was the first woman prime minister of any country on this planet, she survived the pogroms in Russia when Christians in that country use to go on rampages killing Jewish people because they killed Christ. She taught in New York, New York in a Elementary school there. Over all she was a remarkable woman. http://members.tripod.com/~lenapedata/biographies/meir_golda.htm
