I left my girlfriend and went back t my kids mother but it seems that I am doing it just for my kids... I am there thinking of my ex but something inside telling me this is the safest place to be but my heart is with my ex still...

It sounds like you have given both women enough ammo to wonder what the hell you are doing since you leave one for the other just like that. I wouldn't feel emotionally safe with you. Jealousy comes from a real fear that you are going to do exactly what you did. Seems to me you didn't spend alot of time making your ex feel very comfortable or secure. At least you are thinking of your children. Sounds to me like you need to get your own place or move in with some guy friends, stay involved with your children and sort out who you really want to be with because if you keep going back and forth--well, no wonder she's jealous and tempermental!!! Get a clue!
