I Dont Like The Feel Of Them.When You Have Dry Skin,And The Feel Of Wood,In Your Hands.....Then That Reallllllllyyyyyyyy Doesent Feel Right.Whoever Invented Wooden Spoons,Could Have Had Put A Rubber Grip On Them Or Sumthn.

You need to use wooden spoons otherwise there is a chemical reaction that you don't want with the ingredients. Use wooden spoons for hollandaise sauce. Use copper bowl and whisk for making egg whites peak better... etc. Alden Brown on the Food network is great about the chemistry, called Good Eats. I use the larger wooden spoons for cooking all the time. They work great and less worries of them melting like the plastic/rubber ones

Oo, splinters on my tongue. Tweezers pulling the splinters out of my tongue... ouch!!! Not a cherry thought!
But like those ones in cheap little ice creams... hmm. Perhaps they're all right. They taste funny.
And if one just happened to have a load of wooden spoons, stranded on a desert island, one could perhaps make fire! Ahh! Lifesaving wooden spoons!

Um... Wooden spoons in general? Bamboo is my fav. When i think of wooden spoon, I think of y mom using it on me to get met to stop jumping on the couch

When i was younger i hated them! Don't bother me too much anymore but since my mom can't really be like " go get me the wooden spoon" anymore!

They look good. They are good to cook too since it is not a conductor of heat. I would not prefer to eat with wooden spoon.

I love them! They are great to
stir a pan of something while it
is cooking.
When I was raising my children,
I used to just hold one up and
they would do as they were told.
"The dreaded wooden spoon!"
(now of course I suppose that
is considered child abuse!)
