They've played well since trading Abreu, starting pitching hasn't struggled and theyre only 2.5 games back with a game at hand over the teams infront of them.

My pick for N.L. Wild Card: The Cincinnati Reds. They've just been at the top too long to lose it now, even with the majority of the League at their heels.

Sure, why not the Phillies? They are right there and if they got hot for a week or two, they could certainly overtake the Reds and end up being the wild card team.

half the NL can still win the wild card, so yes there is still hope for the Phillies. Maybe they should have kept Abreu...

I think the Reds or Cards will win the Wild card spot. Philly's offense slumps every now and then!

Well even though they won the game last night (by almost blowing the 10-1 lead they had), I don't know if they will. At least they seem like they are trying this time.

I think they can and management is looking to do it. They just got Moyer. I know he is not great but , he is better then anything they have in the 4 and 5 spot now. Meyers has to pitch better though.
