It appears that your Windows Xp is not genuine copy.... but that message is annoying you can remove it and buy Xp later So First remove that annoying message.....
>> Disable Non Genuine Windows Warning Messages
Here’s a workaround:
Removing this is easy. Too easy infact. Click on the start menu and select run and type this:
%windir%\system32\wgatray.exe /u
Click on the start menu again and select run and type: regedit
Navigate to the following key and delete the key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mic*ft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify\WgaLogon
Reboot and See!

Hi have you installed a copied version of Windows XP?
Some companies also provide OEM versions of Windows with their systems, each hard drive should have a genuine windows (holographic) sticker on it somewhere with the serial number. If you were sold a computer and you now have the get geniune window each time you start, you were probably sold a computer with an OEM that was applied to several different PC's.
You PC is not at risk though, it means that until you get a genuine copy of windows you will not get any updates from Microsoft. As long as you have anti-virus software and a firewall installed then you computer will be fine.
You can't install any new Microsoft software either though, like IE7 or Media Player 11.

CAN U LISTEN ME, DON"T WORRY
IT IS BECAUSE OF U MIGHT RAN Genuine Windows Check so it is detected ur Copy of window as not genuine. And it will show at your startup screen of windows XP. But this is not a problem if ur a Home user, It will go off only when u reinstall WindowsXP but atually there is no need of reinstall it.
Just Keep on going nothing will happen except u may see a Label saying like "This window is not genuine" thats it

I bet you installed a Windows update and started getting that. This means that the (buggy) Windows Genuine Advantage software thinks your copy of Windows is a counterfeit. You are left with three options: 1) Go out and buy a new copy of Windows and hope it will pass the WGA tests. 2) Ignore the pop ups and just deal with it. 3) Install Linux and leave the world of proprietary annoyance software behind.

Microsoft aren't stupid & if they detect U have an unlicenced copy they get 2 know about it.
Sometimes paying 4 UR softwear is better than losing UR computer 2 a Virus.
Tho it does sound like 1 of those Spam windows, but I cannot C it so I can't really know 4 sure, can I?

whichever operating version of windows requires a license to receive updates ... you can use a copy of windows for evaluation purposes only for a short time but no updates will be available to you if its not a licensed copy ... if you are not sure, run Belarc Advisor (a system inventory program available at http://belarc.com/free_download.html ) to determine if it is a legal copy, you can purchase a missing license and copy of the software from Microsoft for a reduced price

You obviously don't have a legal copy of Windows. Either buy a copy or move to a free OS like Linux. It takes a bit of getting used to, but it is very good if you can get the hang of it.

The only way Microsoft know if your running a iffy copy of windows is because you've gone to windows update - if your running a iffy copy don't go there - if you want the updates then go to 9down.com for the updates - i say no more.

It is safer to have a genuine copy of Windows. If your computer crashes you're in big trouble trying to restore
