I have light skin, and was wondering what would be better spray tans or tanning lotions. I have been using tanning lotions on my legs for a while. I'm looking for an all-over tan. I was also wondering about that Mystic tan, and was curious to see if it worked. Thanks

I would go ahead and try the Mystic tan, I have heard nothing but good things about them. I tan in a tanning bed, and that works awesome, but not everyone wants to do that. But yea, try the Mystic tan and see if ya like it!

I am very fair skinned myself. I have done the mystic tan, and I loved it. It came out even and pretty. The problem is it only lasts a couple of days so you have to get it done regularly. The lotions and sprays in the store often cause streaks and they have always made me look orange rather than tan. The best product I found was the Daily Glow moisturizer. You put it on everyday, and it subtly adds natural looking color to your skin. I love it!

tanning lotions are better because you don't tan in spots you tan all over your body and the shade is the same over your whole body, as where with tanning sprays there might be spots left. At least that's my side of the story!
Fact: tanning beds and tanning on the sun are both bad because they might lead to cancer so just stay the way you are now and thank God for what he gave you!

I would have to say that no tanning is the best option for the health of your skin. Over tanning leads to skin cancer and even though it may look good now, it will affect you later in life.

How about using sun block and walking around the lake? Let nature warm and brighten your skin (limited amounts though, you can get skin problems with natural tanning too)

I have VERY light skin. Tried them all. Get an airbrush tan where they spray it on you. That works the best - is dark - and is all over. Trust me!!!! It's $35 where I go - lasts about a week. If it isn't dark enough you can go again after 2 days and get a deeper one. NO ORANGE - it's great.

spray tans are more cover over but they also get inside your pores more. remember a spray tan is like taking a can of paint and spraying it all over the body.
tanning lotions using carried uv portection, they are lotions and keep the skin smooth and soft.

Well a mistic tan is good. But why don't you try going to the tanning bed and tan and mantain it with a tanning lotion. i go to the pool and i don't use anything and i am know 10 times darker than anything. So just go to the tanning bed and use lotion.

def get a spray tan, its more even, and will look better one shade rather than variations which is what you will get if you use lotions. dont forget to exfoliate very well before hand, i use salt and oil. the best tan to use is st. tropez
happy tanning :)

they both work the same you just have to decide if you want to look fake or not. if you use lotions it looks like you are tanning gradually, if you spray you might turn orange and everyone will know its fake because your skin changes color in about 30 minutes.

Spray tanning is better because it shows on your skin faster
