Nothing complicated here. All I want is to be able to listen to music when I go jogging. Most people I see have I-Pod Nanos. I went to Best Buy and they cost $149. I can buy something else for $50 that has just as much memory. Do you guys have any suggestions on what I should buy and most important WHY I should buy one over the other. Thanks.

I bought the iPod video for 50 dollars more than a nano but at Sam's Club it was only 283 dollars. I absolutely love it. The nano comes in different sizes 1GB (240 songs), 2GB (500 songs) and 4GB (1,000 songs) models starting at $149. The iPod video 30GB (7,500 songs) is 299 dollars or you can get the 60 GB. Also my cousin's bought this and love it.

Try Consumer Reports and see which mp3 player or iPod is rated the hightest. Compare battery life and song capacity. Best of luck!

i hve an iPod nano and they are great. but, they only hold up to 500 songs if you get the 200$ kind. iTunes is where u keep all of your music. its pretty simple. just put a cd in the drive and it'll download. if u want a song, you can purchase it on iTunes. ipod nanos can hold pictures also. there is this case that wraps on your arm (holding the nano) that is spesificly for running or jogging. i would suggest you getting it because, the other ones may not have good quality and they could easily break.

The Ipod nano is more user friendly and easier for less technical people as myself. I have one and I put 2 playlists on it, one for the gym, one for riding my motorcycle
