There are more reasons why this is a lost dream than can easily be counted, but we can place them in the general categories of economics, politics, and religion. The best one can hope for ever in the Middle East is a heavily armed prolonged ceasefire.

I think it is a future reality. Biblical prophesies point towards the end times as being when the Jewish people live in peace with their neighbors and rebuild the temple where the Dome of the Rock stands presently. There is also a prophesy from the book of Daniel that talks about an anti-Christ who will "confirm a covenant with many"--this is typically thought to be a peace treaty. Christians maintain that the majority of the prophesies have been fulfilled already which are supposed to come before this. It may not be in my lifetime, but I definitely think one day there will be peace.

Iraq civil war. Iran nuke ambitions, Saudi Arabia and Iran funding violent and radical Islamists, Islamists hating and vowing to finish off Israel. All these things would lead to 3rd World war may be in the near future where nukes could be used to crush these dark satanic forces of violent and hateful Islam.
And then the Islamists would cool off and probably would see a new order in that part of the world.
Right now soaring oil proces have made the mullahs , Sheikhs and other dictators in that region quite rich and flush with cash.
So no chance of peace.

you have already got a jewish state interior the the U.S. it rather is called enormous apple. Why no longer pass there and pass away the Arabs on my own? it rather is totally controlled via jews, although they do ocassionally have problems with American government; Gov. Spitzer in basic terms have been given in difficulty for involvement with prostitution. We in united states of america of america can administration the jews; the Arabs won't be able to. Jews are safer right here and the international is safer with the jews right here. they have no nuclear arsenal for one ingredient. Plus, they are able to't run around bulldozing human beings's properties and gadget-gunning little ones and blowing up entire neighborhoods.

When the Palestinians and other Middle Eastern groups proclaim a desire to eradicate all Jews from the planet, I'd have to say no.

When the Palestinians love their children more than they hate the Israelis, there will be peace in the Middle East.

Anything is possible..But until all fanatics (on both sides) simmer down, I doubt there will be a peaceful coexistence. Its hard when both sides believe that a piece of land belongs to them and them only...Until they understand each one is human and it is God's land and not just theirs, there will always be conflict. That land belongs to everyone..Jews, Muslims, and Christians...After all, our lord was born there so we as Christians belong there also if we want...

Who's dream is that? Seriously.
Neither side wants the other to even exist.
It is taught in school books. It is written that the other side are dogs, apes and pigs.

Leaving it to those in the situation to negotiate...anything is possible! It is interference from outside sources that keep the fighting going.
