I have been offered this trade.
I get Kurt Warner and Ruben Droughns, I lose Shaun Alexander. I like the idea beacuse I was unlucky in my autopick draft at the QB position. I have David Carr and Brad Johnson on my roster and only players of that calibur or less are on the free agent market.
Is this enough for Alexander given the sorry state of my QB's or should I counter and ask for Warner and Tiki Barber insted of Droughns?

Don't do it! I like Warner, but he can't stay healthy and Drougnhs gets yards but not enough TD's. Hold out for Barber and Warner. Actually I would let the rest of the league know that Alexander is on the trading block and see what others are willing to give up.

HELL NO!!! Don't trade Alexander for Droughns and Warner. You should try and get Barber and whoever that guys number 1 QB is. If that QB isn't Peyton, Brady or Palmer I wouldn't make that trade. Alexander is rated #1 or #2 for a very good reason, he's a damn Fantasy Machine. So to sum it up

Alexander for Droughns and Warner= Worst trade ever

Alexander for Barber and Warner= Retarded Trade

Alexander for Barber and for one of the 3 mentioned QB's=pretty good trade.

If your going to trade Alexander for a QB, get a much better one. You could probably get someone like a Tom Brady and a good running back for Alexander. Warner is getting up there in age and has injury problems, so he wont start every game this year.

At least try to get Barber and Warner for Alexander. Alexander is the most valuable player in all of fantasy football, so you should demand much more value in return.

Ouch. you have gotten gotten greater for Shaun Alexander than that. You have been to desperate, you will possibly desire to have provided him a counter deal to get greater out of him. Portis is a great returned and is a stud whilst healthful, yet he has had knee tendinitis all this offseason. If QB became into an argument then you definately've gotten gotten Drew Brees, Tom Brady, or Carson Palmer in substitute for Alexander. on the same time as i individually like Cutler he's barely worth being a backup QB in delusion on the 2d. for my section you gave up too lots and did no longer get adequate in return.

oh my god - if you do this I will find you and strangle you.

You are falling right into his hands.

Here's a hint to new fantasy players: Never trade your #1 pick without at least getting the other guy's #1 pick in retrun. In this case, you should get his #1 and #2.

Warner is about the 10th best QB, and likely at his age not to finish the season. Even if he offered Peyton Manning, I wouldn't deal SA. Droughns is a late 4th round pick, a serviceable back to fill in on bye weeks or in case of injury, but that's all.

Take your chances with what you have at QB, do not trade SA.

if you want to destroy your team, accept that trade.

Otherwise ask for Tiki. Remember, you're dealing the guy who had the most TDs in one season.
