Is there a secret to threading seed beads onto beading wire (ie Beadalon etc) - not onto thread but wire?

I have seen it done, the people used a padded fabric with a nap, Kind of held the beeds in place so they could thread. It looked like it takes a fair amount of skill and really good eyes.

If it helps, when I used to use seed beads, there was one company...something Hill, the beads were the most consistent and easiest to work with.

Use a fine needle.
