Lasi is the finnish word for glass, and OY denotes a company (like Inc or Ltd). Riihimaen Lasi OY was an important Finnish glass company from 1937 to the 1970s.

Is it possible the name of the designer is "Riihimaen Lasi Oy"? There are many of these glass vases on eBay and other sites
