I don't know. You have to get an application and see what information they need and qualification they require. You should be able to get those from the nursing board of your state. My guess is they probably ask you if you are legal alien or citizen because they assume you want a job after you pass.

I don't know about the exam, but she cannot study in the US with a tourist visa. She would need to apply for a student visa (F1 status) in order to go to attend a college or university and get her nursing degree. My advice is to ask someone in the International Student Affairs office of the nearest college or university to find out what she has to do in order to take the exam.
Good luck to your friend.

the visa is good for short term like 3 months but then check with them the government office to see if it applied or not , i know that ones you get your permit and you are working your visa will be renew to a longer term and you must inform them . To make every trip short visit or call the gavernment office it will save your day.

she will surely stick with. her possibilities of being approved are very low. frequently because it takes as a lot as a 12 months to procedure the workplace artwork and get her a visa to to migrate legally to the U. S.. so the temptation to apply the vacationer visa to stay completely is very extreme. in case you stay in China, you should seem into filing an immigrant petition there with USCIS.

I live in the USA and a few years ago made inquiries to see if I could use my US RN license in Great Britain. I was told that I would have to take the entire exam over again in GB. I am sure that the reciprocity is the same .
