I recently wanted to pursue in interest in dance after I saw the many benefits I could get from doing so (Many it would give me something to do and get me out of the house) but I know there are many different kinds of dancing styles and I wanted to know if you could guide me to something that I would like and why.

If it helps I'd like it to be something kinda modern, I'm hardly gonna pull out the old Waltz in the middle of a club now am I? :-P

You'll get a basic knowledge of dance by touching briefly on the waltz, for weddings, you want to be wanted? ask a girl to dance at her sister's wedding. You will be the knight in shining armor.

Learn the Latin dances, the salsa dances translate into club dancing, just don't' spin your partner, but the control and hip release is sex with your clothes on and the line will form on the floor if you can do it sweet, and neat, not nasty.

Yeah, yeah, get out of the house, get exercise but get a good education, or what's the point?

AND>>>>Most country bars hold free class sessions before the club opens for regular business, dance, free, and free...you don't have to date the singers, you just want to dance, right? and the benefits of dance.....yeah, benefits, that's the ticket.

Tennis lessons can range pretty much anywhere from $10 - $70, depending on where and who you're taking them with. It depends. If you want a private lesson (just you), that costs more. If you want a semi-private lesson (between 2 and 4 people), you can split the cost. Large group lessons (or clinics) cost about $10 an hour. I started about a year and a half ago. It depends on how much you're willing to put into it. I played every day last summer and kept playing through the winter, and I have improved A LOT. It can be hard, and very frustrating, especially when you're just starting, but it's fun when you start to get good. It helps to be quick, and have some muscle, but generally, the more in shape you are, the better. I run a couple days a week.

In the middle of a club something that works quite well is Jive/modern jive or anything latin, cha cha or possibly rumba if its a slow one.

This is assuming you have a little bit of space on the dance floor - the last few times I have done anything like this I could only shuffle as the dance floor was really busy.
