Bloody Mary is based on a girl that killed her whole family a long time ago. There is no evidence that the girl who committed the crime is even named Mary.
The whole mirror thing is a big joke. It was thought up to scare people. When I was younger I used to try to see her in the mirror all the time, by saying her name 3 times in a dark, mirrored room. Nothing happened.

This is a true testament to our school system...
Bloody Mary was one of the Tudor queens of England who killed many, many citizens who didn't share the same religious beliefs as she did (she was a devout Catholic).
What you described is a ridiculous tale spun by mean older siblings who want to make their little brothers/sisters scared to sleep at night.
So Bloody Mary is real, yes, but not in the way you're describing.

bloody mary is based off the real figure of Mary Queen of Scots who was executed by Elizabeth 1 when she challenged her rule. People can make themselves believe things, but I don't believe the myth that exists at slumber parties is real.

No neither is the candy man. Bloody mary was given to a queen who exectued a lot of ppl. "Off with their heads"....but now a bloody mary drink is yummy if made right ;)

Nope, you have to do it at midnight, in the dark, in your bathroom and then spin 6 times and say, "bloody mary....."
Then, you'll see a reflection of he murdered corpse resonating on your face.
That's what I was told many years ago. I tried it but the only I saw was black.
it's too dark in my bathroom at midnight.

You have to call her. I did it one night in my bathroom mirror and i seen her, I ran out of the bathroom before she could pull me through the mirror.

nope, i do it all the time, unintentionally, though, i just play around with my bby bro., so she is not real, neither is the boogyman, or freddy cruger, or la chupacabra, or la sucia, la llorona,..... most of these ar spanish sorry, but the point is they dont exist eventhough im still scared of them!!! =[
