Where did all the Red Sox fans go? They were here last week...They were all over the place when the team was in first place...But I can't find them today...

It reminds me of 2003...you couldn't find a Red Sox fan anywhere. Then a year later, the bars were full of people saying they were there all along.

It reminds me of the photo of the Red Sox owner's box toward the end of Saturday's game...empty.

Why didn't Theo Epstein do more at the trade deadline. He got the sweetheart Hinske deal, but that's like bringing a knife to a gun fight after the Yankees got Abreu and Lidle and Wilson.

Hey, that JJ chick thinks you're cute. Too bad she's not.

It's hard to find a Sox fan after a weekend like this. They're all at home sleeping off their hangovers.

As for why Theo didn't pull a deal... here's a newsflash for you. Some info that you won't hear on ESPN. The Sox farm system is shot. All of their quality arms are already in the big leagues, and while Baseball America... and Bill James and Theo Epstein are convinced that they're all going to be little Sandy Kofauxes... the other 29 GMs in baseball aren't as impressed.

Hansen, DelCarmen, Van Bueren and Lester aren't impressing anybody. Everybody wanted majors-ready talent, and Boston didn't have any to give up.

The reason the Yanks were able to get Abreu and Lidle without giving up majors-ready talent, is because they ate the salaries. Boston wasn't willing to do that either, because God-forbid the front office would spend some of the money they're making from having the best broadcast deal in the country, the highest seat-prices in baseball, constant sellouts, $8 beers and dogs, and on and on and on.

i'm a die perplexing pink Sox fan. i'm no longer bitter in any respect that the Yankees gained; even with the very undeniable actuality that, i might want to have a lot rather have had my Sox win, very resembling absolutely everyone else might want to have loved to make certain their communities win. there is little question that the Yankees offered their thanks to a identify (as do many giant market communities), yet basically because they spent funds would not assure them the identify. And more desirable human beings hate the Yankees because of their effective heritage and that is basically yet an extra reason human beings boost the money problem. I said something diverse this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days from the Yankees. They gave the impression to be having exciting, like little youngsters more desirable. noticeably A-Rod, he appeared like a baby very last nighttime. I also beloved that the middle team of fellows were nevertheless there (Mo, Jeter, Petite, or maybe with the undeniable fact that I despise him Posada). I basically desire they nevertheless had my sought after Yankee of all Bernie Williams. All in all, i'm sort of happy the Yankees gained. i desire it lights an *** lower than the pink Sox's *** and receives them into 2d equipment for next 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. i need yet another Sox vs Yanks ALCS. And as for strikes bypass...i imagine they ought to commerce for Gonzo of the Padres. he's a beast. i think that if we renounce Bay and Beckett and make a commerce for Gonzo they'll be more desirable helpful off than signing a tumbler. And if a initiating pitcher is what they're searching for i might want to commerce for King Felix over Halladay. i might want to also no longer be adversarial to trading Papelbon. in the journey that they could save Bard faraway from the trades, he's a closer in the making, and that i loved how Wagner regarded...

Montreal. I have heard that Montreal is going to purchase the Red Sox and they are going to bulldoze Fenway. When the Red Sox lose the 5th game angainst the Yanks today Francona will be fired.

Total agreement here. Yankees go for the sweep in less than an hour, but who are they really sweeping? The Red Sox or their bandwagon fanbase?

We're still here, don't worry. We're just all in foul moods and we don't feel like getting earfuls from the Yankee fans.
