I have brown eyes and light skin. Would smokey eyes work for me, and if so, how could I get that look?

YESS!! go with a purple tone (goes nice w/brown eyes and it doesn't matter what your skin tone is really) do darker on the outer part of your eye with the darker purple (find a dark and light shade you like) and then with the lighter tone fill in the lid...blend together w/a brush or even your finger and it should work real well!

Yes it would suit you perfectly, use a medium brown shadow,(not bronze) or a sultry medium grey shadow, apply over lids blending well, use an eye pencil close to the lashes, upper and lower, and smudge with a cotton bud, then apply a couple of applications of mascara, perfect.

I asked this question a few days ago and I got a great link to a video showing it. It made it so easy and I practiced a bit before I got it right. I went out last Saturday night and I loved it. Here's the link....

try using a black or charcoal powder for liner and then applying a gray shadow. Then put on a coat or two of mascara. When lining the eye make sure its are blended or smudged without any harsh lines.
