Yes or No- upto your choice. But as a Dr, I suggest heart patient can consume alcohol like a cough syrup- 1 to 2 tspn, mix with luke warm water and not more than the specified limit. If you ignore then you kill your self. As others said, it thins your blood, increase your Heart rate, but you 'll have a very good blood circulation and also all depends upon the quality, quantity of the alcohol, what you consume. Somany people don't know that every body consume alcohol with out their knowledge, as we all eat citrus and other kind of fruits. The minerals and vit.c in the fruits, get fermentated in our system and become alcohol. Best of luck

Probably in low quantities...that would be something best discussed with the heart patient's doctor...it likely would depend on the specific condition and severity of it...

it has been proved now with the studies that alcohol does not dilate the coronary arteries so it will not help the heart patients,although many doctors may say to the contrary but it is not their true opinion and they are saying this beacause they themselves like to drink alcohol and so can not tell others not to drink it.besides it will damage your liver also.

better not to drink any alcohol. patients undergoing medications must not drink. avoid softdrinks too, try fruit juices. alcohol will kill you fast!
