Well the fist things that come to mind are :
1. Development, most civilizations have a hard time developing their nation because of greed and lack of intelligence.
2. Morality,most so called developed civilizations lack morality,all the good that they do are shadowed by their lack of discipline which brings me to my third point.
3. Crime no matter how hard we try to avoid it,it exists and it is getting worse as people are lacking morality.
There are more I could think of but these are the most common issues that we all have to face as civilizations.
