Seeing the Earth in its profound environmental peril, Gaia, goddess of the Earth, summons five kids from around the world to become the Planeteers, an opposing force to fight back and educate others in the need to be environmentally responsible. I freakin loved captain planet ... it was in its prime when i was a kid ... EARTH!!! FIRE!!!! WIND!!!! WATER!!!! HEART!!!!.....At his disposal are all of the elements and forces of the natural world......Intellectually, Captain Planet has an encyclopedic knowledge of the universe; emotionally, he is a blend of the five disparate personalities and imaginations of the Planeteers. He is the combination of their hearts and souls, and a metaphor for their teamwork and cooperation.
