when is the peak for the fall leaves to be seen?

on the blue ridge parkway

we went up there this weekend there are some already falling, usually in mid october is the best time.

i did not get the chance to experience the blue ridge parkway however late sept. early oct.

Should be around mid-October, but that varies depending on the weather.
