I'm in the dog house over something that I perceive as really stupid. I went to Catalina over the weekend with my mother, father, brother and sister. My girlfriend couldn't make it and stayed home.
Upon returning yesterday, my girlfriend was very happy to see me. I showed her the pictures that I took while I was there; everything was fine until she came accross the picture that was taken in a bar of my brother standing next to a young girl in her early 20's flashing me her bare breasts.
She said, "I was home all weekend cleaning the apartment while you were in Catalina filming pornography. As far as I know, you had an orgy with her" My girlfriend is 34 and Brazilian, so maybe there's a culture clash???
I thought the picture was actually funny, but I was going to delete it until my brother and father said that it was indeed a funny picture and I should leave it in.
My girlfriend has been cheated on before, but I would hope that she trusts me, just like I trust her. Help.

How in the world would someone think a picture like that is funny...
Anyway, your best bet right now is flowers, and a clean apartment when she gets home, dinner cooked, and a big old smile on your face dispite whatever she says.

I've been cheated on, and yes I trust my fiance 100%, but if I saw that picture, I would be angry too. What ELSE was going on if some chic flashed her boobs at him? Plus, he'd be upset at me if I saw some guy's ****, and I respect him enough to stay away from situations like that. So, I'd expect the same respect.
It's not a culture clash - it's scarring from her previous dealings with a cheating partner. You need to delete the pic and any others that may be similar. Good luck!

Well, I know that if my husband came home from a trip like the one you took and he showed me a photo like that I would have probably said the same thing. Then I would have shook my head and said "I hope she likes to clean house". This is what I always say when I think my hubby is trying to make me jealous, it's my way of saying...sure bring her over, meet the kids, she can help me with the housework...then we both laugh about it. I don't think it is funny seeing someone flash their breasts at my husband but I trust him and I trust his family so I would know that nothing was really going on. I also know that men love that kind of attention...so I say "boys will be boys"...

First off, a relationship should be built on trust. If she doesn't beleive you then there must be more that we don't know,I wouldn't think just one simple thing like that would make her react that way. If my man brought home something like that I would probab;y be upset at first but then get a good laugh out of it , I no he wouldnt do anything wrong, that is just good clean fun. And she should feel the same way unless you give her other reasons

Man, you really screwed up! Maybe you can beg your way back into her good graces, but I doubt it. Having been cheated on before, and being from another more conservative culture, her trust will be very difficult to obtain. Your chances of winning her back are, in my opinion, remote. Do you even deserve her? Ask yourself this question.
