Wow yankees barley made but as soon as jeter hit that ball in the 8th inning one came home and giambi last nite was outstanding!!!!!!!!!!!! Yankees are back!!!!!!!!!!!

The Yankee will not be denied. This is similar to the Boston Massacre of 1978 , not as dramatic , but just finishing the Sox of mentally. Jeter is the most clutch player in baseball. Whenever they need a big hit to start a rally or drive in a big run the guy comes through. Giambi has been great in this series , almost all the Yankee hitters have. Red Sox fans can only bring up one year 2004 since no one else was alive in 1918. The Yankee fans will give the Red Sox their one championship to their 27 every century.

Really was a great game, from a baseball fan standpoint. I am a Red Sox fan, and really hate the Evil Empire, but even I have to hand it the them for pulling that win out. Just too bad that Big Papi choked...if his ball had gone out...and Manny had gotten up...NY would have been in trouble then.

That was a phenominal game last night. i watched the whole game, and yes, that included staying up until 1:30. it looked like the sox would win it in the bottom of the ninth, but nope! also great job by papelbon-coming in with bases loaded, no outs and escaping with one run allowed.
