I live in the city, but I've have had neighbors that kept roosters. Could be people like that and people in the country hearing roosters.

I used to own a house in the country. My neighbor had a rooster. He was awesome. He would come over and crow on my front porch to be let inside. He'd come over and visit almost every day. Furthermore, when I let him in the house, he'd just hang out with my cats and follow me around the house until he started crowing at the door again to be let out. He'd even let me pick him up and hold him.
He only crapped in the house once, but I had hardwood floors, so no biggie--easy cleanup.

I have a pet for a rooster & he wakes me each morning. Why do you ask? You can't borrow him. He's mine. Get your own cock.
