Refurbished means that when a computer broke, the computer company took it apart and fixed the broken parts with new or used parts! They do work, but i would consider using a brand new one, even though it does cost more! And ive never heard of Lenovo, sorry!

Refurbished means Factory Reconditioned...they took a broken one and fixed it and are selling it again. I don't have any experience with Lenovo, but from what I have heard, they are good.

Refurbished: Factory reconditioned- they pass all the same tests as brand-new models. I would recommend buying a warranty, though.

Lenovo seems to be one of the best- check it out: http://www.pcworld.com/article/id,123409-page,9/article.html
