right now its 87,000 miles on there...and for 6000 but on hte othere hand there is acura leghend the latest one...which has a 174,000 miles for 1500 which would be a better choice..im only going to drive for one year...so...i like sedan better but i dont kno whether acura will last long or not? same for explorors too....help me out

I have a 95 Explorer with 295,000 miles on it
and have had no major repairs

With gas prices you shoud go with the Acura for sure. I just got rid of my Ford explorer. It cost me $60 a week in gas to fill the thing! I say go for the accura

With proper maintenance any vehicle built in the last ten years should last at least 200,000miles. Check the vehicle carefully to see if it has been properly maintained.

let me just say that personally I would not buy a ford. I have had many troubles with fords. I think that you should look around and get lots of consumer ratings before you buy one, personally I don't think it is a very wise choice.

very long explorers are the only good ford cars. really good.. guaranteed they'll last at least til 2014..
